Organically maintained turfs

This commercial property has been maintained organically for 8 years. Clover was overseeded into the turf in the spring before the photo was taken (early July, 2000).
This institutional turf was overseeded with clover 2 years previously. Photo in May of 2000. There are "weeds" in the turf, but they form part of the blend.
Turf on the residential property at right has been under organic management with no pesticides for 8 years. It has a blend of grasses and small herbs, with almost no clover. A sunny area is shown at top, and a partially shaded area at bottom.
